| Woman Killed, Others Injured in Laguna Hills Accident |

A woman was killed in a car crash when the car she was a passenger in was hit from behind near Hon Avenue and Alicia Parkway in Laguna Hills, reports the Orange County Sheriff’s Department. Investigators believe that the driver of the car causing the accident may have passed out due to a medical condition. The male driver of the car struck was taken to Western Medical Center and treated for head injuries while the female passenger was killed. The driver causing the accident suffered minor injuries, along with the four-year-old passenger who was also treated.

| Car Accident Leaves Corvette Almost Split in Half |

An accident involving a Corvette and a Chevy Equinox yesterday in Tustin resulted in a light pole being knocked down and the Corvette almost split in half. The California Highway Patrol reports that the Equinox made an unsafe left turn causing it to collide with the Corvette at the intersection of Newport Avenue and Macy Drive. After being hit, the Corvette then hit a concrete light pole which then crushed the back of the car causing it to split, as stated by the Orange County Register. The driver of the Corvette was taken to the hospital for care.
