A woman was killed in a car crash when the car she was a passenger in was hit from behind near Hon Avenue and Alicia Parkway in Laguna Hills, reports the Orange County Sheriff’s Department. Investigators believe that the driver of the car causing the accident may have passed out due to a medical condition. The male driver of the car struck was taken to Western Medical Center and treated for head injuries while the female passenger was killed. The driver causing the accident suffered minor injuries, along with the four-year-old passenger who was also treated.

An accident involving a Corvette and a Chevy Equinox yesterday in Tustin resulted in a light pole being knocked down and the Corvette almost split in half. The California Highway Patrol reports that the Equinox made an unsafe left turn causing it to collide with the Corvette at the intersection of Newport Avenue and Macy Drive.
