| Car Accident Leaves Corvette Almost Split in Half |
An accident involving a Corvette and a Chevy Equinox yesterday in Tustin resulted in a light pole being knocked down and the Corvette almost split in half. The California Highway Patrol reports that the Equinox made an unsafe left turn causing it to collide with the Corvette at the intersection of Newport Avenue and Macy Drive. After being hit, the Corvette then hit a concrete light pole which then crushed the back of the car causing it to split, as stated by the Orange County Register. The driver of the Corvette was taken to the hospital for care.
